BEST OF BAUHAUS WINTER PART 2

Here are my pics for the hottest GUYS styles this winter. Bauhaus has always produced amazing tees and sexy jackets for guys that become staple pieces in any wardrobe they enter.

Pictured, is the "Silverlake Shirt" and "Gareth Waffle", a perfect look for a cold day that demands more than a simple tee, I reckon!

Here is a sexy biker-boy look. The "Respirol Tee" and "Crooks Jacket" are pictured. Everyone loves a bad boy!

The "Rapido Tee" is a wicked style for winter, and was one of the most popular sellers, so you are sure to see it at your local Bauhaus stockist. Badges adorn this tee, making it just that little bit different :)

Finally, from the "special edition" range of tees, is the "Grindhouse Tee". These are a play on old indie flicks, and are covered front and back with wicked, and sometimes naughty prints. Each colour has a different print, so which one will you choose???

Thought that I would post all my favourites in the new range from BAUHAUS in case you guys are having trouble deciding what to buy for your winter wardrobe. All styles pictured are either available now, or will be by April.

This is "The Body Tee", teamed with ultra sexy coated "Panther Jeans" and a pleather jacket (for those of us on a budget!!). A sexy, definitely slimming look for a winter evening. What do you think? Hot or Not??
This is the "Vixen Hoodie", also available in black, and an ultra sheek, clean look for winter that can be teamed with almost any outfit! Underneath is the "Indifference Tee" . I'm actually wearing this super-cute tee right now. It has a flattering fit, and little jewels surrounding the print which makes it just that little bit different :)

Set to definitely be one of our hottest sellers this season, the "Santa Monica Dress"
is versatile to be worn on a cool summer evening, and then supplemented with tights for those cold winter days that will make their arrival around May!

Here, the model is rocking the "Walkman Tee", which was the signature print of the range, communicating a sassy and sexy message :).

I love the fact that tee's have come right back into fashion for women, and brands are considering the desire of women to be able to feel feminine in what is largely considered a men's item of clothing. Have you seen the advancement in fits and prints that have really imprinted the women's tee into the quintessential wardrobe??

People who follow the Bauhaus brand will DEFINITELY recognise the jacket above - formally the "Hunt Club Duffle". Bauhaus have now altered this immensely popular style, producing it in a gorgeous rich red with tartan lining!!! The "Helsinki Duffle", as it is now called, will still be available in the original black, YAY!! Who already has one of these??
Finally, meet the "Captain Cardi". I always have to have a cardi in my wardrobe t get me through the chilly Auckland weather that sticks around at least 60% of the time. This awesome tan and black striped number has big copper buttons and is snug as a bug in a rug...YAY!

Hope everyone is well rested and satisfied after the christmas rush, and not too out of pocket from buying Christmas presents!

Not too much to report from JET just yet, as new stock won't be hitting the shelves until February! So summer is on its way, and that means peeling off the layers and expressing your fashion style by experimenting with silhouettes and emphasising your best features. Show off your legs with cute boyfriend fit shorts – loose and comfy in the crotch, and best in a slightly distressed denim, but don’t go overboard! To find this style in JET, look for the Lee FAT BETTY short. Show off your lady lumps by donning scoop neck tees, with hip and funky prints – try the range of Kowtow tees – gorgeous fits and colours and all made from organic/fair trade cotton!

Gone are the days where we should flash expensive labels or dress up for the day-time. In response to the recent economic conditions, even celebrities, such as Hillary Duff and Kirsten Dunst have been seen shopping at chain and independent retail outlets that are a far cry from Rodeo Drive. Simplicity is key – which means minimal jewellery, natural make-up and comfy, relaxed clothing. Remember that the sexiest woman will look her most incredible without even having to try!

My favourite outfit for a summer day has got to be a pair of Havaiana SLIMS teamed with mid or high-rise shorts and a funky shirt tucked in (my preference being the Bauhaus ELLIE-MAE shirt *pic 2), or an over sized singlet (try all the wicked styles from SomeThing). However, because Summer is still on its way, and the Auckland weather changes it’s season almost hourly – make sure you always take a light cardigan that matches your outfit, and swap shorts for plain rinse wash jeans in a light, summery colour (try Lee FASHION SUPA SKINNY in AZURE BLUE) on those days that the sun refuses to shine brightly!

The nights persistently remain chilly, so if you are out and about, you are going to need to dress appropriately! I love wearing a short singlet dress (perfect is the Ringspun BIG BLUFF dress *pic 1), but putting a white ¾ sleeve cotton top underneath, and leggings or tights to keep my legs warm! This way, if I’m out at a club and get hot, I can whip off the layers underneath and still be left with a complete outfit!

Fingers crossed that summer will arrive soon, and the winter wardrobe can be put away for good! Until then, happy dressing. :)
